The motif shows Phra Pidta, a Buddha and protective figure known in Thailand, covering his eyes with his hands. This posture does not stand for blindness in a literal sense, but for consciously turning away from outer distractions, negative influences and restless energies. The gaze turns inward. This is where calm, focus and protection arise.

In Thai amulet tradition, Phra Pidta is regarded as a powerful protective symbol. It is worn to ward off misfortune, negative energies and spiritual attacks. At the same time, it stands for inner wisdom, serenity and the ability not to be touched by every noise from the outside world.

The Charm is richly detailed all around. On the front, Phra Pidta sits in a meditative posture, hands covering the eyes, embedded in ornamental structures, floral elements and sculpted protective symbols. The dark oxidation strongly emphasizes the depth of the relief, while the polished silver surfaces create vivid contrasts. The sides and back are also intentionally designed, allowing the Charm to unfold its spiritual presence from every perspective.

Thanks to its large inner diameter of approx. 7 mm, this Charm can not only be worn on common bead bracelets, but can also be used as a hair bead or beard bead.
