Originally created in 2020 as part of our floral design work, this timeless piece now celebrates its debut in the online store. A quiet classic that captures the serene beauty of the NIWA garden. Inspired by the gentle strength of the dogwood blossom, it stands for endurance, hope and inner resilience.

In North America, the dogwood symbolizes perseverance, protection and character strength. The exceptionally hard wood of this plant has been regarded for centuries as a sign of inner resilience and the ability to endure difficult times and emerge stronger.

In Christian tradition, the blossom is associated with grace, renewal and hope. It serves as a reminder that even after trials new light can arise, and is seen as a symbol of spiritual growth and quiet confidence.

In East Asia, especially in China and Japan, the dogwood is viewed as a symbol of purity, loyalty and steadfastness. Its blossoms often appear early in the year, even in cooler seasons, and represent perseverance, devotion and the beauty of quiet strength.
