The surrounding relief shows a sea of fine CHRYSANTHEMUMS. Dense flower heads, small leaves, and softly flowing stems wrap around the body of the charm like a carpet of metal. In many Asian traditions, the CHRYSANTHEMUM stands for a long, fulfilled life, for maturity, composure, and calm after the storm.
